Hey, remember that time when my AMC column featured some tips for making your own low-budget horror movie? Yeah? Well, guess what- this week I'm giving out more totally unsolicited filmmaking advice! Hooray!

Jimmy Choo at H & M
Monday night, celebrities converged in Hollywood for a sneak preview of the eagerly anticipated Jimmy Choo for H&M collection. We are huge fans of designer partnerships that make high fashion accessible to everyone and this one is the best yet.
Debuting in 200 stores worldwide on November 14th, the Jimmy Choo collaboration with H&M features shoes, accessories and for the first time, clothes by Jimmy Choo. The Hilton sisters were present, as were Hayden Panettiere and Olivia Wilde among others all wearing fashions from the new line.
The Jimmy Choo for H&M sequin jacket, leather pants and zebra clutch that Hayden Panettiere chose is an example of the rock and roll aesthetic that Jimmy Choo is known for:
We love Paris Hilton's pink clutch, sexy dress, leather studded bracelet and wrap belt:
Jimmy Choo creator Tamara Mellon is wearing the collection's black leather one shoulder dress which would have been perfect on our recent trip to Vegas:
We're excited about this pair of stilettos priced under $100 that look strikingly similar to their upscale counterpart available closer to $1000. Our inside source tells us that the only comfortable pair of shoes are the grey boots; but you know what? This wouldn't be the first time we'd sacrificed fashion for comfort.

JSG Wedding Beauty Part 2
Yesterday I let you in on all my at-home wedding beauty secrets, today I'm bringing in professional help.
Here's my wedding beauty checklist for the week:
On Wednesday, I'm headed to Sally Hersberger Face Place to see two of my favorite people, Tom and Erica for a facial and a medicure. The two of them are bundles of positive energy who almost have too much fun while on the job. Though others may advise against getting a facial three days before a wedding (or other big event), I checked in with Tom who said that since I've had a facial with him before, with glowing results, that three days was the way to go.
At the same time I'm getting the facial, Erica will be doing my medicure, her should-be-patented pedicure with a drill. I'm thinking about going with Sephora by OPI's Mermaid to Order as my something blue on my toes. (Gotta a favorite wedding-appropriate blue? I'm open to suggestions!)
Thursday, I'm headed to the John Barrett Salon for eyelash extensions, then to Warren Tricomi for a blowout. (Gotta look hot at the rehearsal dinner!)
Somewhere in there, I need to figure in time for a bikini sugaring treatment so I'm bathing suit ready for the honeymoon and time to spray tan.
I'm waiting until Saturday for my manicure, because I don't want even the slightest hint of a chip. I'm headed to the Sweet Lily Natural Nail Spa, because it's A) One of my favorite nail salons in the city. I love the shabby chic decor. B) It's close to my hotel, the Tribeca Grand. I already know I'm using Tracey Reese for Sally Hansen's Opulent Cloud, because, it's simply the most beautiful nail color I have ever seen.
I'll be getting my hair done by my regular stylist, Sarah Rappolt at the downtown Bumble and Bumble. We did a trial last week and I also had my color done by Joseph Mullen at Blackstone's. The rest of my bridal party is getting blowouts at Bumble, too.
Lucky for me, my dear friend, Emily Warren is a talented makeup artist who has worked on countless magazine and advertising shoots and backstage at many a fashion week, most recently in Paris. Here's a sneak peek of the look she's doing:
We'll be sure to post a photo or two from the wedding with the completed look!

Jennifer Lopez' Makeup at the "This Is It" Premiere
Jennifer Lopez looked gorgeous at the "This Is It" premiere. Celebrity makeup artist, Bebe Booth, used Milani cosmetics to achieve her perfect smokey eye (under $50!). We're not so sure about the hair. She normally has sleek smooth locks and here it looks like they overdid the texture. Fortunately for JLo, little can distract from her good looks. Here's how Booth did her eyes:
It is all about the eyes for this look. To achieve these beautiful bold smokey eyes for an evening out on the town, you will need several shadows to create the look. I recommend two palettes from Milani’s Runway Eyes Fashion Shadows; Backstage Basics ($8.99) for your shimmery silver & black shades and the Ready To Wear ($8.99) palette for the golden highlight around the inner corners of your eyes. Each of these palettes has six shades to choose from, so you have many options for creating a soft or heavy smokey eye. For this look, keep the darker shades toward the outer crease and the shimmer highlights toward the inner crease of the eye.
To really make your eyes pop, you will need Milani’s Eyeliner Pencil in True Black ($3.99). Line the eye top to bottom from the inner corner to the outer corner of the eye; don’t be afraid to smudge the liner for a softer affect. Though it might feel strange to apply the pencil liner along the inside of the waterline, it will definitely give your smoky eye that dramatic affect Jen is known for. Don’t forget about the lashes - you want them to stand out as well - so apply several coats of Milani’s Power Lash in Black ($6.49). I recommend applying the first few coats of mascara for thickness, let the lashes dry and then go back to add length with a finishing coat.

I think he was...or he kicked a bear-suited person in the face or something like that. I don't know, I haven't seen it. Maybe I will...maybe I won't. But no matter the direction my whims take me in the future, this installment is all about the '70s, baby. Netflixers, click here!

Annie's wedding is only a few days away (!!!) and many are asking her what's on her wedding beauty countdown list. Here's everything she's doing in full:
Last week, I updated my Facebook as: Is it possible to OD on beauty products? I'm currently wearing Talika eye patches and Crest White Strips after using a face scrub, face mask, 2 kinds of body scrubs, a hair mask and various moisturizers.
Um, yeah, I'm doing a lot to look my most gorgeous ever on my wedding day!
I'm very lucky that I have access to not only the best products, but also some of the best hair stylists, skin experts, nail techs and makeup artists in the world. I am doing a lot at home to save both money and time--a precious commodity when I'm running around town to dress fittings, shop for jewelry and other last minute wedding errands.
To get my skin in tip top shape, I've been doing at-home facials twice a week. I'm alternating between my old stand by duo Prescriptives Instant Gratification and Intense Rebuilding Hydrating Mask (Yes, I know these products are going bye-bye. No, I haven't come to terms with it yet.) and my new favorite June Jacobs Papaya Purifying Mask.
I do LOVE the Talika Eye Patches. They instantly plump and refresh the skin under my eyes, without ever making them puffy, like other intensive eye moisturizers I've used. I plan on using these the day of the wedding.
My dress has spaghetti straps, so to keep my skin soft and glowing, I try to use a body scrub every time I'm in the shower. I've never met a scrub I didn't like, but my current one is the de-Luxe Bain Instant Manicure and Body Polish. The dead sea salts remove my dead skin. With all the different peppermint oils, it's like being in a eucalyptus steam room.
I also like the Being True Energy Work Active Body Peel. It's a gentle alpha hydroxy acid peel. I like that it's not greasy. I plan on using it right before I self tan--probably on Wednesday and/or Thursday.
I'm not a huge fan of conditioner, because my hair is on the fine side and it robs it of volume. But to get my hair back in shape after my last color appointment, I used PhytoCitrus Restructuring Mask for Color-Treated Hair, once and only once. My hair should be in perfect shape on the big day!
When I step out of the shower, I use Payot Regenerating Dry Oil. It's got all the moisturizing oomph of a regular oil, but none of the greasiness.
At night, I use Korres Body Butter in Melon. It has shea butter, plus sunflower, almond and avocado oils to leave my skin super soft. The Melon scent is pretty mango-y, which reminds me of my upcoming honeymoon and helps calm me down before bed.
I've had my teeth bleached a few times, so I think they're about as white as they're going to get. I do use Crest White Strips when I remember, but that's not everyday.
