Grammy Awards Fashion

No doubt that the Oscars are the premier event for red carpet fashion watching; but we've always been partial to the Grammy Awards for the rocker vibe and sexy hem lines. This year was a little disappointing in that regard. Yesterday the red carpet was much more conservative and elegant and Hollywood fashionista than rocker chic. Kate Beckinsale is always gorg and her hair and makeup were perfect; but the long black dress with the pleated fish tail looked out of place. Katy Perry did too with her floor length bubble gum pink gown (yeah we know "you kissed a girl," so what?).

Gwenyth scored points with us and not just because she was in sequins. This Versace dress showed off her legs, which she's been doing a lot lately; but we also like the steel tights and ski high heels. Kudos for not stumbling.

Taylor Swift wore the best hair and makeup; and even though her dress was long, the black hardened up the Grecian look. Her seventies diamond shaped mesh earrings are hot too. Word about the do: Enzo Angileri used a medium sized curling iron all around and Moroccanoil Intense Curl Cream to smooth, define and hydrate. Then he twisted her hair up and pinned in place and finished with a mist of Moroccanoil Gold Glimmer Shine Spray.

Audrina Patridge wore the best color. Teal looks great with her hair.

Finally, could someone tell Paris, there's short and then there's too short? This is really just a camisole.
