That photo is from Martin Schoeller's Close Up
and was taken in 2004. Schoeller is a photographer for the New Yorker, a contemporary of Close's and his book of tight portraits includes Brad's paramour, Angelina Jolie, Barrack Obama, Sting, A-Rod and more. Besides the facial hair, Brad is significantly more wrinkley four years later. Perhaps it's all those late nights with the twins?
