• So does the appearance of The Funhouse have you wicked pumped for the next Film Club meeting, or what? November 8th- be there! Or don't.
• Speaking of The Funhouse...1981 represent! Four films in this chunk alone. Nicely done, folks.
• The Hitcher is such a great movie. That scene with Jennifer Jason Leigh, man...you know the one. YOU KNOW.
• The appearance of The Amityville Horror has me hankerin' to re-watch Part IV: The Evil Escapes, which makes no-- well, it's about an evil floor lamp, so my wanting to watch it makes perfect sense, actually. I gotta check out the sequel about the dollhouse and the sequel about the clock, too.
• Another re-watch: Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. It really underwhelmed me the first (and only) time I saw it. It could be one of those movies that's better-loved if you saw it back in the day, but I think it deserves a second chance. I'll take it back with open arms, but if it hurts me again we're through. For reals.
