Hair Salon Discounts
Haircuts can really hurt a girl’s budget, but we have good news! The Umberto Salon in Beverly Hills is bringing back the Cutback, a promotion that was originally introduced during the economic struggle in the 1980s. New or existing customers can get a cut and blow-dry for the reduced price of $65 by a stylist. For those of you too busy to schedule an appointment, this is available on a walk-in basis.
Even Ted Gibson, the most expensive haircut in the country at $950 has seriously decreased his price for the sake of everyone’s wallet. At his Fifth Avenue salon (shown above) he launched “Recessionista Tuesdays”. Every Tuesday, anyone can come into the salon and the Ted Gibson team will offer haircuts, single color processing for $75 and blow-outs for $40. If you are located in DC, the same deal is offered on Wednesdays.
You don’t have to sacrifice good hair because of the economy. Besides, you wear it every day, so it’s worth every penny!
Update: Catherine Malandrino and Frédéric Fekkai are teaming up to offer an exclusive day of shopping, cocktails, and hair consultations from the Fekkai Melrose Artistic Stylist. Based on their French style, you will feel as though you stepped into a European salon. Guests will also enjoy 30% off full price merchandise for the afternoon and a Fekkai gift bag with a purchase valued at over $100. This will take place Thursday, June 11 from 12PM to 4PM at Catherine Malandrino Maison, 651-653 N La Cienega Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90069.
